Equinox Conservatory Roof Prices
Equinox is Eurocell's tiled replacement roof for an existing conservatory, and Eurocell will not tell you what it costs. Three independent publishers do, two of them by size, so every pound on this page is third party and we show whose figure is whose rather than blending them. It is one of the four named conservatory roof systems you are likely to be quoted.

Eurocell publishes no price, and says so
This is the finding, not the preamble. Eurocell makes the Equinox roof, its quote form routes you to a local Eurocell branch, and the system is fitted by its approved installers. Its own product page asks the cost question in its FAQ and answers it without a figure.

A fair description of how roofs are priced, and also a statement that the price arrives with a salesperson. Every fitted figure below is therefore third party.
The practical consequence runs through the page. With three publishers and no manufacturer figure, nothing here rises above Reasonably evidenced. If you want a number for your own conservatory before anyone visits, price your conservatory roof first and read the quotes against it.
What an Equinox roof costs fitted, by size
Three publishers price this system fitted. Two publish size tables and one prices a single job. Their size brackets overlap without matching, so we group them into four bands of our own, show each publisher in its own column and do not average them.

Across every size the three publishers span £6,500 to £16,500. Read row by row they agree more closely than that band suggests. In the small band their lowest figures sit within about a third of each other, and at about 16 m² both size tables start at £9,500. Our reading, labelled as ours, is that most of the spread is size and specification rather than disagreement.

For the job as a whole rather than this one system, the generic cost of a full conservatory roof replacement is the better check on whether an Equinox quote is high or low: four independent publishers price the generic 3m by 3m tiled roof.

The only supply-only prices we found are on a trade list price document for the Equinox kit, hosted by a trade supplier. It prints no date, but the file itself dates from early 2019, so these are list prices from about seven years ago, not today's. They exclude VAT, which we have added at 20 per cent, assume a 25 degree pitch, and leave roof windows as extras. The kit is also an older build-up: a 12mm plywood deck and 100mm of rafter insulation, where Eurocell's April 2025 product chart lists an 18mm OSB3 deck and 60mm of PIR as well. Thin evidence, one source. Seven years and a different specification apart, the kit price cannot be taken off a fitted price to work out what fitting costs.
The current trade and DIY suppliers we checked list the system, and one of them offers it supply only as well as supply and fit, but none prints a price: each sends you to a quote form. A supply-only figure you are shown today is that supplier's quote, not a market price.

What Equinox actually is
The Equinox tiled roof system is a replacement roof for an existing conservatory, not a new build. One name clash first: Equinox Roofs, which sells louvred pergola roofs, is an unrelated brand.

On fitting time Eurocell gives two answers: typically two days on its trade page, 4 to 5 days in its April 2025 brochure. Our reading is roof on in two days and the room finished within the week. Ask your installer for their own schedule.
You may also see Equinox sold under the Deeplas name, a Eurocell group brand whose Equinox cross-section shows the same 100mm Stylite Plustherm and 60mm PIR layers. The company details are in the questions below.
The U-value claim
Eurocell publishes 0.15 W/m²K for England, "as low as", and 0.12 W/m²K for Wales. Unusually for this category, both figures are tied to named calculations. The Stroma certificate lists a Melin U-value calculation from February 2020 giving 0.15 for England and a second from November 2022 giving 0.12 for Wales, alongside a BRE condensation risk analysis from 2020.
0.15 is not a boast. It is the U-value standard for a replacement roof in England under Approved Document L Table 4.2, once the structure stops being an exempt conservatory, so every current system quotes it. Eurocell's FAQ also gives 0.12 for Scotland, but no certificate or calculation we have read covers Scotland, and the brochure sends Scottish jobs through local building control, so we do not repeat it as a checked figure.
0.18 is not Eurocell's figure
Two third-party pages about this roof state 0.18 W/m²K: a review published in April 2026, and a comparison site last updated in 2021 that gives 0.18 in its text and 0.15 in its own specification box. No Eurocell, NBS Source or Stroma document we read says 0.18. If a quote uses it, ask where it came from, and ask for the calculated U-value of the build-up you are actually being sold, in writing.
Certification: a current Stroma approval and an expired LABC detail
Numbers and dates rather than adjectives.
Equinox holds Stroma Building Control certificate 14009, titled Equinox Solid Roof, issued 19 January 2026 and expiring 19 January 2027. It is a one-year system approval for Eurocell plc covering four requirements of the Building Regulations 2010: A1 on loading, B4(2) on external fire spread over the roof, C2 on resistance to moisture and L1 on conservation of fuel and power. It covers the roof system only, on a single-storey conservatory, and it has the same twelve-month dates as the Stroma certificates for Ultraframe's two roof systems.
- An installer relying on this approval notifies each job to Stroma at least 10 days before work starts, and a fee is payable. The certificate does not publish the fee.
- The installer's surveyor must assess your existing conservatory structure before the new roof goes on.
Eurocell's documents name two building control firms, and they do not conflict. Stroma Building Control, which issued the certificate above, and MFA Building Control, which Eurocell's April 2025 brochure names as its building control partner for England and Wales, are both registered building control approvers on the Building Safety Regulator's register. Stroma holds the dated system approval for Equinox; we found no MFA approval certificate for it. Either firm can take on the building control for your job, and so can your local council. Ask your installer which one they will use, and ask to see the approval they are relying on. Checked 14 September 2026.
The older credential is LABC Registered Detail EW606, with the LABSS equivalent EWS606. A 2021 Deeplas brochure says EW606 was achieved with SlateSkin GRP sheet tiles, composite slate tiles and steel tiles, and EWS606 with composite slate and steel tiles. EW606 was first issued 19 May 2016 and states validity to 19 July 2017, so it is expired on its face, and Eurocell's April 2025 brochure no longer mentions LABC. We do not write "LABC approved" about Equinox or any other system. We found no BBA certificate for Equinox in any Eurocell, Deeplas, NBS Source or Stroma document.
None of these documents is approval of your roof. Your job still has to be signed off, and how that works is set out at building control for a roof replacement.
Weight, and the figure Eurocell does not publish
Eurocell publishes no system weight that we could find: not on the trade page, in the brochure or product chart, on the NBS Source entry or in the Stroma certificate. The only published weights for solid conservatory roofs in the UK are Ultraframe's two systems, at 31 and 38 kg/m², and we will not attach either to Equinox as though Eurocell had published it.
Two other numbers circulate: 67 kg/m² on a comparison site last updated in 2021, and 18 kg/m² in an April 2026 review. Neither cites a Eurocell document, so we use neither. The Stroma certificate does list engineered structural calculations, so ask for the loading figure for your build-up in writing, and for confirmation that your frame can carry it.

With no Eurocell price to check against, quotes are the only real data on what Equinox costs on your conservatory. Ask every installer to itemise, in writing: the tile type and pitch, the insulation build-up, the calculated U-value for that build-up, the number of roof windows or Vega panels, and which building control body they will notify. Then get conservatory roof quotes from more than one installer on the same specification, because a price with roof windows in and a price without them are not the same job.

The other named systems
Equinox is one of four names you are likely to meet in a solid roof quote. Guardian Warm Roof cost rests on two publishers and a legacy U-value of 0.18. Ultraframe conservatory roofs are the only systems with a published weight, though UltraRoof380 has no published price. SupaLite conservatory roofs carry the only manufacturer list price in the category, and it contradicts the installed figures by roughly a factor of two.
