Ultraframe is the largest name in this market and publishes no cost page anywhere across its site. It also fields four products that are routinely mixed up with one another, two of which are not solid roofs at all. This page prices the one product anybody has published a figure for, states plainly that the other has no published price, and corrects the two miscategorisations. It sits under the four named systems.

The four Ultraframe names, and what each one actually is
Two of these four are solid or hybrid roofs. One is a column system. One is a glazed roof. All four get listed as solid roof options on comparison pages written by people who have not read the certificates, which is the single reason this table is worth more than the price column in it.

LivinROOF is the only Ultraframe product with a published installed price: £9,500 to £15,500 including VAT, typically £10,500 to £12,500. That comes from a single publisher, May 2026, so it is Thin evidence and it stays Thin until somebody else prices the same system. Checked 20 August 2026.
UltraRoof380 has no published price anywhere, and that is the answer
We checked Ultraframe's own site, three installers and one DIY supplier. Every one of them quotes only. There is no list price, no from price and no size table. Rather than leave the cell empty or fill it with an estimate, we publish the absence: no published price, quote only. A guessed number here would be indistinguishable from the invented figures this site exists to replace, and it would be repeated by other sites within weeks.
What that means for you practically: the only UltraRoof380 price is the one an installer writes down for your roof, so the quote has to carry the specification or you cannot compare it with anything. Five lines to insist on, in writing: the panel type and thickness, the calculated U-value for that exact build-up, the loading on your frame in kg/m², whether the eaves beam and any structural work are included, and who is notifying building control. A quote without those is a number, not a price.
For a market-wide sense of whether an Ultraframe quote is high or low, what a new conservatory roof costs generically is better evidenced than anything on this page: four independent publishers price the generic tiled roof, against one here. If a quote is well outside that band, ask what the extra buys.
What Loggia actually is
Loggia is not a roof. It is an insulated structural column system, more recently marketed as super-insulated columns, and it is fitted internally around the perimeter of the conservatory. Ultraframe's own description is that your chosen roof sits on top of the super-insulated columns. The roof is a separate product that you buy separately.
This matters because of the number attached to it. Loggia is published at 0.15 W/m²K, and that is a column U-value. Set beside a roof U-value on a comparison table it reads as though Loggia is a solid roof performing at the England limiting value, which is not what the figure measures. Nothing about a 0.15 column tells you what the roof above it reaches.
The practical consequence is a quote-reading one. Loggia is what a lot of installers are actually selling when they describe strengthening the base of the frame and squaring off the pillars, and it is priced separately from the roof. If a quote names Loggia, ask which roof is going on top of it and what that roof reaches, because the answer is a different product with a different U-value. This correction is one of twenty-two in the industry myth list, each with the primary source that settles it.
Classic is a glazed roof, not a solid one
Ultraframe Classic appears on comparison pages as a solid roof option. It is a glazed aluminium conservatory roof, built in grade 6063 T6 aluminium, and its certificate says so. BBA 96/3261 lists the glazing as 25mm or 35mm sevenwall polycarbonate, or a 24mm low-E argon double-glazed unit. Polycarbonate and glass are not solid roof materials.
There is a second reason to know this. BBA 96/3261, Product Sheet 1 Issue 2, second issued 12 December 2023, is the only current BBA certificate anywhere in this category, and it belongs to the glazed product rather than to any of the solid systems being sold on the strength of their certification. Ultraframe publishes no price for Classic, so its cost is unverified here as well.
The U-value claim
UltraRoof380 and LivinROOF both publish 0.15 W/m²K standard with a 0.12 option. Those are roof U-values on the current literature. The 2018 process guide gave 0.16 and 0.13 with 190mm Unidek Aero panels, so an older document or an installer working from one will quote you different numbers, and neither set is wrong. Ask which document the figure came from and which panel thickness it assumes.
0.15 is not a coincidence and it is not a boast. It is the limiting value a replacement roof has to reach in England once the structure stops being an exempt conservatory, so it is the entry ticket rather than a differentiator: every current system in this market quotes it. The 0.12 option is the genuine upgrade, and it is the one worth asking the price of. Across the eight named systems published figures run 0.10 to 0.18 W/m²K. Where the requirement comes from and when it bites is set out at the U-value it has to hit.
On certification, one paragraph rather than a section, because the detail belongs on one page and not on five. Neither UltraRoof380 nor LivinROOF holds a whole-system BBA. Both hold Stroma Building Control certificates, 14001 and 14018, issued 19 January 2026 and expiring 19 January 2027, and UltraRoof380 additionally carries an MFA pre-approval and a Broof(T4) fire classification to EN 13501-5. Those are twelve-month approvals from an Approved Inspector, they are not the same thing as your job being signed off, and we do not write "LABC approved" about any system on this site.
Weight: the only published figures in the category
UltraRoof380 weighs 38 kg/m² and LivinROOF 31 kg/m². Those two numbers are the entire published weight dataset for solid conservatory roofs in the UK. Guardian, SupaLite, Equinox and Leka publish nothing we could find, so the much-quoted market range of 31 to 38 kg/m² is not a market range at all: it is Ultraframe's two products, and everyone else has borrowed it.
Publishing a weight is a small act of confidence and it is worth crediting, because weight is the input to the question that can stop a solid roof outright. Your existing frame was designed for a polycarbonate or glass roof. Whether the mullions contain steel reinforcement is invisible from outside and decides whether the frame carries the new load or needs strengthening first. If you are comparing systems and only one of them will tell you what it weighs, that tells you something too.
Solid against glazed, and the hybrid in between
LivinROOF exists because the solid roof decision has a cost nobody puts in the price: daylight. A fully opaque roof fixes the temperature and darkens the room, and on a north-facing conservatory that trade can be the difference between a room you use and a room you walk through. A hybrid puts glazed panels into the solid roof so some of the light survives.
That is the honest case for the more expensive of the two systems on this page, and the honest case against is that the published LivinROOF band of £9,500 to £15,500 sits above the generic tiled roof band at both 3m by 3m and 4m by 4m, and rests on a single publisher. Both things are true. Before choosing, it is worth reading what solid conservatory roofs and what they cost actually involves, including the daylight arithmetic and the roof-window line that usually follows it. If you want two views on the same roof, a conservatory roof quote from more than one installer will usually produce one solid and one hybrid proposal.

The other named systems
Three other names come up in the same quotes. Most searched of the four is the Guardian warm roof system, which publishes no price at all and carries a legacy U-value of 0.18. The only one with a manufacturer list price is the SupaLite tiled roof system, and that list price contradicts its own installed figures by roughly a factor of two. Thinnest of the four on data is the Equinox roof system, from Eurocell, which rests on a single publisher with no size table and no published weight.
